08 Jan Thanks is Never Enough
In September of this year we launched the Fibromyalgia Care Society of America. Since then, people from all over the world have reached out requesting assistance. It has been challenging yet motivating to read emails from people living with fibromyalgia in Pakistan, Chile and Argentina, just to name a few. I am astonished that in 2015 we still have millions of people and families affected by Fibromyalgia crying out for help across the globe. In my 20 years of working in the Social Service field, I can honestly say that my heart has not ached as much as it has the past 4 months since we launched. Yet, I find myself determined to continue the fight as I am reminded of how crucial supportive services are to the fibromyalgia community.
As we prepare for a new year, I hope we all remember that The Fibromyalgia Care Society (FCSA) matters to many more people in many more places than we may realize. It will take time, lots of work and funds to reach all the people that desperately need our services. I am committed to making sure that we do just that.
In 2015, with your support we were able to raise awareness and funds to begin laying the foundation of bringing supportive services to this often ignored, misunderstood and underserved community. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I am excited when I think about the goals we have set for 2016 and the people who will benefit from our services. I am confident that with your support we will continue to achieve our goals and mission.
Thanks is Never enough.
Happy New Year!
